Engineer. Innovator. Creator.
Who Am I?
Hello there! I'm Joseph Improta, you can call me Joey though. I'm a passionate mechanical engineering graduate student with a deep-rooted fascination for the intricate world of machines, tools, and all things that move. My journey as a mechanical enthusiast has been driven by a relentless curiosity about the inner workings of technology and a hands-on approach to unraveling its complexities. You can go ahead and explore my site or just download my resume right here!
Why Machines?
From the purr of a finely tuned engine to the precise dance of gears in motion, I find beauty in the mechanical symphony that surrounds us. My love affair with machines isn't just limited to textbooks; I thrive in the workshop, where my hands find solace in crafting, tinkering, and perfecting mechanical marvels. Whether it's automobiles, tools, or any other mechanism, I revel in the challenge of understanding their nuances and pushing the boundaries of what they can achieve.
I rebuilt the motor on green 69' Camaro RS SS. This was at a car show I took it to.

The Curious Coder
In addition to my passion for mechanical engineering, I am also a dedicated coder. I find immense joy in translating my ideas into lines of code, blending hardware with software with IOT projects. Coding isn't just a skill for me; it's a gateway to innovation and problem-solving. I'm always on the lookout for the latest technological advancements, staying up-to-date with the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

The Quest for Knowledge
I am a lifelong learner at heart. My thirst for knowledge knows no bounds, and I'm constantly seeking opportunities to expand my skill set and deepen my understanding of the world. Whether it's delving into new coding languages, exploring innovative engineering techniques, staying abreast of the latest scientific discoveries, or reading new books, I believe that learning is the key to progress.
The new language I am most excited about learning is Flutter. I have just begun my journey.
My most recent intellectual read. Opened my eyes to the display of data and how misleading certain graphs can be.
With a background in Mechanical Engineering, I have developed a strong foundation in engineering principles and problem-solving.
